Gear Tips - Backpacks

Once you starting packing your stuff for travelling or for some activity, a thing that you need for sure is a good backpack. The type of your backpad will depend of the type of your travel. On my trips, I always endup doing some kind of outdoor adventure, so for me not all of the options fits on my needs. Let me share some of the gear I personally use:

Hiking / Daily use

Hiking in general is a one-day activity. No camp gear is necessary. Backpacks for supporting this kind of activities goes up to 30L.

Use case

This is the daily backpack I've being using since 2014. Great features like the support gor hydrationg bags make this really helpfull for hiking. It's good for daily use as weel, it's possible carry the notebook in the internal compartments.

Trekking

Trekking in general is a two-days+ activity. Camp gear is necessary. Because you nesse take all the Food + Camping Gear + Peronal stuff,  big backpacks 50L+ are the ideal for this kind of activity.

Because will you carry heavy loads, it's very important you feel your backpack confortable, the the rips suport helps balancing the load between your sholders and rips.

Aircontact Pro 70 + 15 by Deuter (Model 2014)

Use case

I bought this monsters to a 3 months travel around New Zealand in 2014, and since then it's being my adventure partner for trekking around Brazil. Every time I need carry my camping gear, this is all that I need.

Duffel Bags

If you will do checkin in the airport, and need a good bag, you should consider a Duffel bag. You don't have weels, but some models allows your carry it as a backpack.

Use case

I bought this bag to carry my diving gear in a trip to Read Sea - Egypt. It is the best big travel bag I had in my life. I can take it under thought conditions without problems.

If want to travel light, with just one backpack, consider the up to 40L models with the dimentions allowed to be carried with you without check-in needs.

Journey Cabin 40 by Curtlo

Use case

I did a 1o days travel to Peru with just this backpack, and it's very do not worry about carry a lot a bags with you. It has good space for clothes and a notebooks compartment with lockable zippers.
